Barium sulfate is an important material in various industries. It is often used as an X-ray contrast agent in medical imaging and also has applications in the oil and gas industry, where it is used in the production of drilling fluids and as filler is used in plastics and rubber. Barium sulfate is also widely used in the paper and paint industry, where it is used as a white pigment, active support of titanium dioxide and to increase the density of paints and varnishes. It is also very frequently used in veterinary medicine . It is important to note that barium sulfate is high density and is not soluble.  Barium sulfate is the only barium salt that is not considered dangerous goods. This barium sulfate is extracted directly from the mineral. For this purpose it is purified, dried and ground several times. This means that the material has a very low and therefore machine-friendly quartz content (reduced wear) and high brightness. pack size: 500g

Sodium acetate is a chemical compound consisting of sodium ions (Na+) and acetate ions (CH3COO-). It is also known as the sodium salt of acetic acid. The chemical formula of sodium acetate is NaCH3COO. Sodium acetate comes in various forms, including anhydrous and trihydrate. The trihydrate is the most common form and contains three molecules of water per formula unit. One of the notable properties of sodium acetate is that it is able to retain and release heat. In anhydrous form (anhydrate), sodium acetate is a white crystalline powder that melts at about 324 degrees Celsius. When heated above this melting point, it melts into a clear liquid. During subsequent cooling, a super-cooled solution is formed, which immediately solidifies into solid sodium acetate upon contact or addition of a crystallization nucleus. This process is known for the use of sodium acetate in heat packs and hand warmers. Sodium acetate is also used in various industrial applications. For example, it is used as an additive in foods to improve taste or to serve as a preservative. In the chemical industry it is used as a solvent or as an intermediate in the production of other chemical compounds.

min. 98.5% molybdenum disulfide, molybdenum(IV) sulfide, MoS2, very fine 4–5 µm powder, CAS No.: 1317-33-5
pack size: 500g

Molybdenum disulfide is a naturally occurring mineral, referred to in its natural form as molybdenite or jordisite. Its excellent lubricating properties are based on its layered molecular structure. Strong atomic bonds form exclusively within the atomic layers, while significantly weaker van der Waals forces exist between those layers. This results in very easy sliding of the individual planes, which can also be observed in graphite.Due to its high effectiveness, approximately 1.0 kg of grease (or about 800–900 ml of lubricating paste) can be produced with just 100 g of MoS2. In gear oils, the proportion is often less than 1%. However, in machine suspensions these proportions can vary considerably. Molybdenum disulfide is a widely used dry lubricant in mechanical engineering. The very soft material adheres particularly well to steel and various metals, making it a durable functional material. The applied film is thermally stable up to approximately 350°C or 450°C and exhibits significant resistance to water and most acids.

Tungsten disulfide (tungsten(IV) sulfide, WS2) is, similar to our hexagonal boron nitride, molybdenum disulfide, graphite, and PTFE (Teflon), an excellent dry lubricant. However, it exhibits improved physical properties compared to the substances mentioned. It adheres significantly more easily to metallic surfaces, has a high temperature resistance and is chemically inert. Some older combustion engines and engines with a special design burn a certain amount of oil. Should tungsten disulfide be used as an additive for this purpose, it should be noted that this can cause significant combustion residues and thus damage.   Chemical and physical specifications: Density 8.0 g/cm³  Purity: min. 98.5% WS2 Particle size D50 8 μm  Particle size D90 17 μm  Weight loss at 105°C 0.1%
