The insertion and holding force generally depends on the difference between the hole diameter and the plug diameter. It is considered optimal when the plug is 0.5 mm larger than the hole.
These plugs are ideal for holes with a diameter of 4.5 mm.
Our hole plugs are used, among other things, in mechanical engineering as dust seals, in paint shops as protection against aerosols in unwanted areas, or simply as closures for salt shakers in ceramic workshops.
