Steel powder can be produced in different ways.
The product here is made from round grain shot onto buffer plates at high pressures. The resulting strong mechanical tension causes the grain to break. The material then passes through a screening line, where it is classified into fractions.
By definition, this product is classed as cast iron due to its high carbon content.
