Product information "Aluminum powder "Eckart 5413 HS", flake, 5µm"

This aluminium powder is made in Germany. A previously produced aluminum spray grit is ground in ball mills with the help of fatty acids . Here the primary particles undergo a change in size, but more importantly a change in shape. The resulting particles are now platelet-shaped (flaky)and extremely reactive due to the large surface area.
The standard aluminum powder "5413 H Super" from Eckart is one of the best-known metal powders internationally. 
Unlike many aluminum powders of Asian origin, it impresses with its consistently high quality. The addition of carbon and fatty acids is essential for powders of this type, but the remaining proportions in this product are significantly lower than, for example, in the powder "Chinese Dark Flake" (also available from us).


Many German and international pyrotechnic companies therefore rely on the proven quality of the company Eckart (Altana).
